My dear master, Srila Prabhupada
On this most auspicious day of your divine appearance in this world, please kindly let my offer my prostrated fallen obeisances at your lotus feet.
You have come from the transcendental land of Vrajabhumi to this obnoxious mlecchades on the order of your divine Gurudeva Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, to deliver all the lowest of the lowest from this wild forest fire of material existence.
In this world there is no one equal to you, nor there is anyone higher. Lord Sri Krsna Caitanya is the most munificient incarnation, because He is very freely giving the love of Godhead.
But you are still more munificient, because you are fulfilling His prophecy, that this mercy will overflow the entire planet. You are His mercy personified.
Your lotus feet are the only way to pure devotional service. By catching them tightly we, the fallen, can be transferred to our eternal home in the spiritual world, just like an insignificant fly without any potency can make it from one side of a great ocean to another simply by making it on board of a nice ship. By your mercy only is this possible. Only by your mercy can we obtain the mercy of Lord Sri Krsna.
I therefore bow down at your lotus feet with great awe and reverence.
The nectarean words emanating from your lotus lips purify the consciousness of all, who hear them with open heart. Of all the desires i can have, only one is worth to be nourished – the desire for drinking that nectar by my ears. Your lotus feet are branches of Goloka desire tree. They can fulfill that desire. devotional service unto your lotus feet opens the heart. An opened heart is ready to accept the nectar of your transcendental teachings and this divine knowledge and bliss binds one to your lotus feet. All these go hand in hand. There is no beginning and no end, no first, no second and no last. this is the eternal service to your swanlike self
My eyes, obscured by thick darkness of maya, are being opened by the blazing torch of transcendental knowledge that you bear. If i cease to act like an owl, hiding before the sun, then there is a chance for me. Birth after birth, kindly bestow upon me the mercy of your sacred service for there is nothing else in the three worlds except a sincere attempt to please you, Srila Prabhupada. Nothing indeed.
You are the reservoir, the ocean of krsna-prema. This love of God is the aim of human life. Kindly let me approach your shores, so i may have a little hope for one tiny drop of that ocean of love.
You are the ocean of mercy. One can take as much water from the ocean as he wants, but the ocean remains ever full. Full and undisturbed. What can i serve you, Srila Prabhupada? You are full in yourself, because you reside in the Full. Just like the part of a whole is a whole by itself, as long as it remains with the whole. You manifest the whole glory, beauty, wisdom, fame, strength, opulence and renunciation of the Lord in full. You don't need anyone to help, serve, or satisfy you. therefore you can speak the truth. Truth that is bitter for us, like a sugarcandy for a jaundiced tongue, truth that offends us, truth that burns the innermost hidden corners of our false pride and envy. And yet we come to you. Why? What are our motivations? That only Krsna knows and you know also, and still you accept us, turning crows to swans, dogs to lions and iron to gold. Your mercy is inconceivable. Just like it is foolish to try to measure the ocean, so it is foolish to estimate your love and compassion.
You are the friend of the poor and i am of the poorest. I long for your friendship and guidance. You are the lord and master of the devotees. Kindly allow me to reside at the lotus feet of your dear servants. Please be merciful upon me. Your fame is forever established in the three worlds!
My dear master, Srila Prabhupada. Today i will give you my vows. I have given you those vows before, but today i will give them if front of the Deity, the fire and the Vaisnavas. Please, kindly allow me to enter into your service and always protect me for you are the deliverer of the fallen souls. May your lotus feet be my only shelter.
Your insignificant servant Makhancora dasa
Hare Krsna!

First of all I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing. I've had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Appreciate it!
